Founded in 2006, The Other Woman Collective is an artist collective that was formed in order to create opportunities for a group of like-minded female artists. These woman work together to plan exhibitions, group critiques, and discussions, while at the same time providing a supportive environment in which each artist can take risks while launching their careers as professional artists.
Exhibitions include Debutante Set at Mew Gallery, The Other Woman at 201 Gallery, a POST Exhibition curated by Eileen Tognini and most recently, an installation in the Urban Outfitters window in West Philadelphia. The collective has also participated in a number of charity and fundraising efforts, including collaborating on a corset that was donated to the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation.
The collective is currently made up of draftswoman/installation artist Aubrie Costello, photographer Laura Graham, sculptor Darla Jackson and painter/print maker Laura McKinley.
