About the Collective

Founded in 2006, The Other Woman Collective is an artist collective that was formed in order to create opportunities for a group of like-minded female artists. These woman work together to plan exhibitions, group critiques, and discussions, while at the same time providing a supportive environment in which each artist can take risks while launching their careers as professional artists.

Exhibitions include Debutante Set at Mew Gallery, The Other Woman at 201 Gallery, a POST Exhibition curated by Eileen Tognini, The Other Woman: Recent Works at The Random Tea Room, and Petit Fours at Arcadia Boutique.  Recent collaborations on site specific installations include The Other Woman, featured in the Urban Outfitters window in West Philadelphia and The Other Woman at Arcadia Boutique in Northern Liberties. The collective has also participated in a number of charity and fundraising efforts, including collaborating on a corset that was donated to the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation.

The collective is currently made up of draftswoman/installation artist Aubrie Costello, photographer Laura Graham, sculptor Darla Jackson and painter/print maker Laura McKinley.

Please check the website often for more information on the collective, updates to member’s portfolios and upcoming exhibition information.
